Karachi :Kent Warriors and AZ Real Estate Islamabad teams have qualified for the quarter finals in the Naya Nazimabad Bankers Cup Ramadan Cricket Tournament. Two more matches were decided in the event.

Umar Associates outclassed Attock Sports by ninety-three runs at Naya Nazimabad Gymkhana. Umar Associates, batting first, scored 168 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the allotted overs. Imad Alam played a brilliant innings of eighty-three runs off sixty balls. Khan Muhammad Nafee and Danish Aziz stood out for twenty-four runs. Nader Shah dismissed four players and Shahid Mirani dismissed two players. In response, the Attock Sports team was bowled out for just seventy-five runs in the sixteenth over. Fawad Alam was the top scorer by scoring twenty five runs. Hassan Khan took three wickets while Muhammad Asghar and Ghulam Mudassar took two wickets each.

In the second match, the team of AZ Real Estate Islamabad defeated Humanity Door Foundation by eighty-four runs in a one-sided match. Batting first, AZ Real Estate Islamabad scored 166 runs for the loss of six wickets. Ali Imam Zaidi scored 46 runs and Owais Zia scored 37 runs. Zakir Malik took two wickets. In pursuit of the target, the team of Humanity Door Foundation piled up for eighty-two runs. Zubair Dilawar scored thirty five runs. Abdullah Amin dismissed four players while Mohammad Azan and Farmanullah dismissed two players each.

The last two matches of the league will be played today in the tournament. In the first match, Passion Cricket Club will face Rehman Healthcare at 7:30 PM. Omar Associates and Hella Dos teams will compete at 11:15 PM.
