ISLAMABAD : Senior Journalist Naveed Ahmed Khan was elected unopposed as the President of the School Management Committee (SMC) of MCG School Hathiayal.

In addition, Anis Abbasi was elected as the Finance Secretary, with three other members joining the committee. An oath-taking ceremony was held, and the new officials of the school committee took their oaths.

According to details, senior journalist Managing Editor Daily Spokesman Naveed Ahmad Khan was elected unopposed as the President of the School Management Committee (SMC) of MCG School Hathiayal.

Along with him, Anis Ahmed was elected as the Finance Secretary. Besides the school principal, three teachers were also part of the committee. On this occasion, a large number of students and their parents participated in the session of the school.

The newly elected president, Naveed Ahmed Khan, said that they would follow the rules and regulations for look after and run the school committee like a home. He thanked the parents and general public and expressed gratitude, highlighting the services of the social figure of the area, Malik Gulfraz, for education as well as school.

The school principal expressed her full confidence and expectations that the members of the committee and others will work shoulder to shoulder and play their role in solving all the school’s issues. The oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected officials was held.

After the oath-taking, the members of the committee visited the entire school, reviewed all the work, and ensured the preparation of a future action plan.
