Federal Minister for Interior, Brig. (Retd.) Ijaz Ahmad Shah chaired NACTA’s 2nd Board of Governors meeting here today at Islamabad. Administrative and Financial Proposals submitted by National Coordinator NACTA, Mr. Khaliq Dad Lak, were discussed in detail and approved unanimously by all the Members of the Board.
While addressing the Board Members, Federal Minister for Interior expressed his satisfaction over NACTA’s performance and its role against terrorism, specifically emphasizing on the coordinated efforts for Countering Financing for Terrorism in the context of Pakistan’s recent FATF measures. Minister further desired that NACTA should be made a more effective organization and that remaining within the available resources, it should improve and enhance its efforts towards the mandated role.
Senator Hidayat Ullah, Senator Rana Maqbool Ahmad and MNA Mr, Jamil Ahmad Khan along with Federal Secretaries of Interior, Defence, Law & Justice and Finance Division, besides DGs Intelligence Bureau, Federal Investigation Agency, Inter Services Intelligence (CT) and DG Military Intelligence, also attended the meeting as Members of NACTA Board of Governors.
