ISLAMABAD: The Chairperson of the Peace and Culture Organization Mushaal Hussein Mullick said that Former South Africa batsman Herschelle Gibbs’ revelations exposed the ugly and criminal face of Indian authorities before the world, who was threatened to deny entry into India for any cricket related work.
Mushaal, the wife of illegally detained Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Yasin Malik, said that the fascist Narendra Modi-led government resorted to all criminal and inhuman acts to keep Indian Illegally Occupied Kashmir (IIOJK) under its unlawful and brutal subjugation.
The chairperson lauded the African legendary cricketer for his courage to bring the fact to the fore to further expose the supremacist Hindutva regime at the global stage.
Gibbs has accused the BCCI of “trying to prevent” him from participating in the inaugural Kashmir Premier League (KPL) and bringing their “political agenda with Pakistan into the equation”.
“Completely unnecessary of the BCCI to bring their political agenda with Pakistan into the equation and trying to prevent me playing in the KPL,” the Proteas great said. “They are also threatening me saying they won’t allow me entry into India for any cricket related work. Ludicrous,” he added.
Mushaal said that Indian authorities would use all tactics to make the KPL a failed league; however she added that all such cheap tactics would be foiled as the word Kashmir is associated with the Kashmir Premier League.
She went on to say that India wanted to erase the word Kashmir from the world but the Hurriyat leader vowed that Kashmiri is irrefutable reality and such attempts wouldn’t succeed come what may.
The chairperson said that ironically the Indian extremist government is even afraid of sports that is why foreign players participating in the league are being threatened of severe consequences.
Mushaal urged that international players to play their full role in Kashmir Premier League and expressed her optimism that they would enjoy their game in the world scenic valley.
She demanded that Internal Cricket Council (ICC) should take notice of Indian move, as no country has the right to threaten any player about their participation in any league worldwide.
