ISLAMABAD : Federal Minister for Railways Azam Khan Swati has said that as a result of corrective measures taken by the government, every aspect of life is improving and relief is being provided to the people. He was addressing to the gathering on brunch as chief guest hosted by the President (Pakistan Chapter) UK Pakistan Business Council, Khurshid Barlas at his residence in the honor of Ambassadors and members of the Economic Journalists Forum.
Sawati said Pakistan signed new trade agreements with various countries and implemented a number of programs to promote regional trade with the African region. He appreciated the efforts of Muhammad Khurshid Barlas in this regard and said he is a brand ambassador of Pakistan. He also lauded the services of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry in this regard.
Dean of Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of Turkmenistan Atadjan Movlamov, Deputy Head of Mission France Yves Manville, Ambassador of Nepal Tapas Adhikari, Ambassador of Yemen Muhammad Mohatar Al-Ashbi, Ambassador of Azerbaijan Ali Alizade, Ambassador of Kazakhstan Akan Rakhmetullin, Ammad Rashid, Chief Editor, Monthly WINGS International and Zahid Latif Khan former President RCCI attended the event.
Group Leader RCCI, Sohail Altaf, President RCCI Nasir Mirza, President ICCI Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan, Secretary General USPICC Malik Sohail Hussain and Fahad Barlas former Chairman Handicraft Association of Pakistan were also present.
On the occasion Khurshid Barlas, the President, UK Pakistan Business Council said that Pakistan is currently the center of attention of the world because of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s policies.
He said due to good governance and attractive incentives, international organizations are giving priority to investment in Pakistan and bilateral trade is being significantly increased by promoting contacts at the diplomatic level.
The Group Leader Sohail Altaf of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Nasir Mirza President RCCI addressed the gathering and said that traders and industrialists are being provided opportunities for business development.
