Karachi: Mitshurio Wada, Japan Ambassador to Pakistan had arrived in Karachi. It is his first official visit to Karachi on assuming the responsibilities as Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan. CEO Sohail Shams United Marine Agency had organized an interactive lunch in his honor in a local hotel.

Japanese ambassador visits KarachiKaleem Farooqi Chairman Pakistan Japan forum, CEO UMA Sohail Shams Chairman Event & Media Company and Members of the Board of Directors warmly received and welcomed Mitshurio Wada. Sohail Shams said in his speech that we thank the Japanese Ambassador Mitsuhiro Wada for his visit and will work with him to further strengthen the relationship between Pakistan and Japan.

Kaleem Farooqi during his speech thanked the Japanese Ambassador and assured him of his full support and cooperation. Japanese envoy Wada during his speech emphasized on further strengthening the fraternal and friendly relations between the two countries.

Mr. Wada also stressed upon the need for cooperation between the two countries in the realm and execution of the mutually cherished goals of economic cooperation in diverse fields. Mitshurio offered sympathies to the bereaved families of the recent flood victims. Wada said that Japan was deeply saddened by the widespread damage in Pakistan caused by the unprecedented flooding and has contributed 7 Million US dollars for the flood affected people in Pakistan.

Mitshurio apprised the audience about the ongoing support and role of Japan in rehabilitation of the infrastructure efforts and cooperation in affected areas with the government of Pakistan to respond to the situation. Wada humorously mentioned that the meaning of his name in Urdu is promise and commitment and he on this occasion pledges to play his diligent role in solidifying the bond of ties between Japan and Pakistan.

Mitshurio said that Japan and Pakistan are holding joint business dialogues on 29th Sept 22. He expressed his satisfaction over the existing diplomatic relations between the two countries and hoped that both the sides will play galvanizing role for the promotion of 70 years of Pakistan-Japan relations in coming years
