IUB ensure expansion of academic facilities for students of region

Bahawalpur :An online meeting was held under the chairmanship of Member (S&T), the Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives which cleared the concept paper of the development projects proposed by the Islamia University of Bahawalpur worth Rs. 4.5 Billion. This project envisages establishing a sub campus of the University at Ahmadpur East, strengthening of Bahawalnagar sub campus and establishing Mechanical Engineering Department, Institute of Physics and Institute of Agro-Industry and Environment at Islamia University of Bahawalpur. This project will prove to be monumental in development of the IUB and ensure expansion of academic facilities for students of this region. In this connection a Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, Govt. of Pakistan was held attended by Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Amjad, Dean Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Saeed Ahmad Buzdar, Chairman Department of Physics, Afzaal Ahmad, Director P&D and Shaji ur Rehman, Additional Director P&D.
