BAHAWALPUR: Under the Clean and Green Pakistan campaign, a tree plantation campaign was launched in collaboration with Islamia University Bahawalpur and Faizan Global Relief Foundation (FGRF).
Twenty-five hundred fruit, shade and flowering plants will be planted in the Islamia University Bahawalpur within a month. Vice Chancellor Engineer Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob and Haji Muhammad Aslam Attari started the campaign by planting trees.
Director Seerat Chair, Dean Faculty of Islamic Learning, Prof. Dr. Sheikh Shafiqul Rehman and Faizan Global Relief Foundation Regional Head (Education) Multan Arshad Hassan were also present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, a delegation of Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce led by President Tanveer Mahmood Chaudhry called on Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob and congratulated him on the successful visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan to Islamia University Bahawalpur. He said that the Prime Minister of Pakistan appreciated the ongoing research activities in Islamia University Bahawalpur. Islamia University Bahawalpur’s research in the agricultural sector, especially the cotton crop, is unparalleled.
