Inspire Pakistan promoting social justice among the communities through awareness campaigns and advocacyIslamabad, 20th February 2021 – “Social justice is the biggest concern of Pakistan. An unjust society can never flourish because prosperity demands principles of fairness, equal opportunity for all and non-discrimination. Our country requires to be governed by these principles if we want to see a fair and just society. The growing difference between the wealthy and the poor, gender and other forms of discriminations that exist within the society need to be crushed with a fresh mindset that allows all forms of freedoms so that the people may live dignified lives- something that is their basic human right, which can be brought about according to message of unity, faith and discipline that our great Quaid gave to us.” Said Mr. Qaiser M. Siddiqui, Co-Founder and CEO Inspire Pakistan on the occasion of World Social Justice Day.
The term ‘social justice’ involves making the world a better and just place to live through eradication of every possible root cause that may slow down or even restrict social and economic development of a country. 20th February declared as the ‘world day of social justice’ by UN general assembly demands change where people and planet are placed above all.
The world has witnessed division by the countries excelling, benefiting from globalization and countries with poor economic conditions suffering from financial crisis; thus further pushing them into the deep dungeons of inequality, extreme poverty and human rights violation. Looking into it farther, pandemic outbreak in 2020 even worsened the situation further leading to severe financial crisis, restrictions, torment and increase in death rates.
Inspire Pakistan, a human rights based organization, has always contributed in promoting social justice among the communities through awareness raising campaigns and advocacy. We appreciate the efforts of our honorable Prime Minister in taking initiatives for eliminating unemployment and working towards the redevelopment of the country. On this very day, we pledge to work tirelessly by carrying this mission forward; educating youth and communities about their basic human rights and hence contribute to making the country prosperous.
