Inspire Pakistan marked the woman day by showing respect to all women around the worldIslamabad : “Your education is a force for development and peace as set out in the UN Sustainable Development Goal 4, which requires education to empower people with the knowledge, skills and values to live in dignity, build their lives and contribute to their societies. Your education, your literacy, gives you access to knowledge which can help you challenge inequality and gender biases, so let’s help to forge an inclusive world together.” Stated Ms Judit Demjen, Advisor RMSP, GIZ Pakistan on the occasion of International Women’s Day at an event organized by Inspire Pakistan to commemorate the day and show solidarity with the struggle of women in a society’s development.

Inspire Pakistan marked the day by showing respect to all women around the world and also paying tribute to the strong women of Pakistan who, against all odds, have been able to accomplish and achieve a lot. On the occasion,  Qaiser M. Siddiqui CEO Inspire Pakistan highlighted the importance of the role of women in the development of a nation and stated that no nation can prosper without educated women. He added that in order to become a progressive society we need to empower our women and end all discrimination against them and that is only possible with a fresh mindset. Ms Amna Akhtar, Programme Officer and Ms Hena Baig, Education Officer from Inspire Pakistan delivered speeches and highlighted their struggles and gave an inspiring encouragement to all women in Pakistan to stand up for their rights and challenge the stereotypes.

Inspire Pakistan has and will continue putting efforts towards equality to make sure that no girl or woman is left behind irrespective of where she comes from, how much she earns and where she lives through advocacy campaigns on women rights and right to education. We believe that a nation can only prosper if the country enables and fosters women inclusion as well as promotes and accelerates diversity in the critical areas of development. Inspire Pakistan, a human rights NGO, believes that empowering women leaders is the key to success, therefore, we pay our tribute and a big shout out to the women all across the globe and pledge to strive till our last breath to promote women rights/ empowerment and stand against any injustice towards them.
