ISLAMABAD : An important meeting was held between Shaykh Muhammad Hassan Haseeb ur Rehman and Saadullah Tashmatov, Ddeputy Head of Mission, Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Islamabad.
On behalf of Government of Uzbekistan H.E. Aziz Abdukhakimov Deputy Prime Minister has officially appointed Shaykh Muhammad Hassan Haseeb ur Rehman as the “Ambassador for Ziarat (Religious) Tourism to Uzbekistan”
Furthermore, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on cooperation was signed between “Shaykh Muhammad Hassan Haseeb ur Rehman (Leader of the Naqshbandi Tariqah of Pakistan)” and “Muslim Board of Uzbekistan (Ministry of Religious Affairs)” to further strengthen and develop existing cooperation in the field of religious Harmony, taking into account the common historical, cultural and religious aspects between the Muslims of the two countries.
On this occasion Shaykh Muhammad Hassan Haseeb ur Rehman gave an interview to Uzbekistan National TV in which he emphasized on the recent visit of Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan to Uzbekistan. This visit has brought both brotherly countries closer to extend mutual cooperation in the field of Trade, Economic cooperation, Tourism and areas of mutual interest. He said Eidgah Sharif stand ready to play its role to strengthen the brotherly relationship between the two countries though sufism and by promoting the Ziyarat Tourism.
