Karachi :Dr. Asim Hussain, a former Federal Minister for Petroleum and a senior leader of the Pakistan People’s Party, has made the announcement that he will cover all of the educational costs for two pupils.
Within the context of a discussion with the pupils Ayan and Anabiya, Hussain came to this conclusion.
In addition, renowned social worker Faizan Rawat was present at the event.
A statement made by Dr. Asim Hussain said that the Dr. Ziauddin Hospital Trust will be responsible for covering the children’s educational costs.
Furthermore, Ayyan and Anabiya will be granted free admission at Ziauddin School during their time there.
They will also receive free uniforms and books as part of their package.
Both students have been unable to attend school following the pandemic; however, they will now begin their education.
At this time, it has been declared that both children would receive free education until matriculation.
According to Asim Hussain, millions of pupils are not attending school for various reasons, including but not limited to poverty, the distance to school, the quality and relevancy, etc.
Even though they have the fundamental right to an education and the opportunity for a better future, many youngsters, particularly females, cannot join a school.
The government and non-governmental organisations should complement each other’s efforts by establishing meaningful links, purposeful collaborations, and a common goal for reaching every child nationwide.
