Islamabad, October 22, 2025: Future World Schools marked a historic milestone in Pakistan’s educational landscape with the official launch of the BYOND Future Programme, in collaboration with Google for Education and Google Worldwide. The launch ceremony, held at the state-of-the-art Future World School DHA Phase 5 Islamabad Campus, was a vibrant celebration of innovation, technology, and the future of learning, says a press release.

The BYOND Future Programme—an acronym for Bring Your Own Networked Device—represents a paradigm shift in education, transitioning classrooms from textbooks to techbooks. The initiative signifies The Millennium Education’s bold commitment to preparing students for a rapidly evolving digital world powered by AI, AR, VR, and collaboration.
For the first time in Pakistan, students will gain Dual Digital Mastery, enabling them to seamlessly navigate both the Google for Education and Microsoft 365 ecosystems. This unique blend empowers learners with agility, creativity, and critical thinking—key skills for success in the 21st century.

The launch ceremony drew remarkable attendance from The Millennium Education Group and Future World Schools’ leadership, faculty, students, and distinguished guests from academia and industry, reflecting a unified commitment to advancing Pakistan’s digital education revolution.

Gracing the occasion as Chief Guest was Ambassador Sardar Masood Khan, President TMUC Higher Education Group. The audience was also inspired by Mr. Umair Jaliawala, a renowned motivational speaker, whose dynamic address urged educators to embrace the future with vision and courage — to go “Beyond BYOND.” A thought-provoking panel discussion titled “Technology or Teacher: What Matters More?” explored the synergy between human mentorship and digital empowerment, highlighting how educators remain central to the learning journey even as technology transforms classrooms.

Delivering the keynote address, Dr. Faisal Mushtaq (TI), Chairman & CEO of The Millennium Education Group, passionately shared his vision: “Our teachers are digital immigrants, and our learners are digital natives. By connecting immigrants with natives through this digital bridge, we are fostering inclusivity, digital trust, and a future-ready learning culture.”
He emphasized how the BYOND Future Programme integrates cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Extended Reality (XR) into the learning process, ensuring that every classroom at The Millennium Education evolves into an immersive, interactive, and future-driven environment.

The highlight of the event was the #IGOBYOND Chromebook Distribution Ceremony, marking a defining moment in Pakistan’s educational transformation. Over 150 high-performance Google Chromebooks were distributed among teachers and practitioners across Future World Schools. Each Chromebook—preloaded with the premium Google for Education license—serves as a powerful gateway to digital collaboration, innovative teaching, and enhanced student engagement. This large-scale distribution not only replaces traditional notebooks but also symbolizes the evolution from textbooks to techbooks, cementing The Millennium Education reputation as a national leader in educational innovation.

The BYOND Future Programme at Future World Schools & Colleges reaffirms the institution’s standing as a leader in educational transformation, empowering every learner to move beyond conventional classrooms, embrace technology, and shape their own limitless futures.
