Islamabad: On the occasion to support Pink Ribbon campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness, H.E Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salim Al Zaabi Ambassador of The Embassy of United Arab Emirates Islamabad visited Islamabad Diagnostic Centre (IDC). The activity was organized to create awareness about the importance of early detection from breast cancer.
H.E inaugurated the event with ribbon cutting followed by his address on the importance of breast cancer awareness amongst women globally. He said that “Pakistan has the highest incidence of breast cancer cases in Asia and such initiatives can help to raise awareness on this widespread disease and also to take appropriate measures for prevention from breast cancer.
Ambassador of The Embassy of UAE visited IDCH.E expressed his solidarity and seriousness in raising awareness about the timely detection and protection from breast cancer. H.E quoted “UAE Embassy and IDC will join hands to support such awareness initiatives in future as well.”
H.E appreciated IDC diagnostics including Covid and specially for providing the Rapid Covid PCR tests for the UAE travelers.
Dr. Rizwan Uppal, CEO IDC expressed his sincere gratitude to H.E and the Embassy of UAE for this joint collaboration to support Pink Ribbon initiative. He said ” The only ray of hope for curing breast cancer lies in early detection’.
IDC is a diagnostic centre chain spread across 30 cities of Pakistan through a network of 85 branches. It is providing an entire spectrum of imaging & lab services to millions of patients for the last twenty years. IDC services are considered the benchmark for quality within the country, and internationally.
