288 servicemen of our Armed Forces were awarded the “Flag of Azerbaijan” order. 56 of them were posthumously awarded this order. Of those awarded the “Flag of Azerbaijan” order, 2 are lieutenant generals, 2 are major generals and 12 are colonels.
In addition, 105 servicemen were awarded the Order of Courage of the 3rd degree. 15 of them were posthumously awarded this order. Six of those awarded this order are colonels.
Also, 3 lieutenant generals were awarded the 1st degree, 9 servicemen were awarded the 2nd degree, and 331 servicemen were awarded the 3rd degree “For Service to the Fatherland” orders. 44 servicemen were awarded the Order of Merit of the 3rd degree after their deaths
