Islamabad :Chairman IBCC and Director Agha Khan University Examination Board (AKU-EB) visited FGEI Directorate Rawalpindi. DG FGEI General Muhammad Asgher welcomed the guest and apprised him about functioning of FGEIs. Director Administration, Director Colleges, Director Schools and experienced Principals from FG colleges/ schools attended the session.
Chairmen elaborated the mechanism of assessment and examination process in Agha Khan educational set ups. Rote learning trend is curtailed in Agha khan examination system. Item bank in each subject has been established by involving subject experts. Difficulty level, reliability, balance and language of the questions sought out. Chairman shared project based learning at middle level and pre-primary teaching strategies.
The session ended with note of thanks by DG FGEI. He appreciated the efforts of chairman in setting an invaluable Agha Khan examination which is a standard for other.
