London: The Pakistan British Business Forum celebrated its third anniversary with a prestigious ceremony held at the Grovefield Hotel, Slough. The event brought together a large number of business leaders, political representatives, and community figures from across the United Kingdom.The ceremony was hosted under the leadership of Founder and Chairman, Qaisar Mahmood Chichi, and attended by several distinguished guests, including Lord Qurban Hussain, Member of the House of Lords; Mian Maqbool Ahmed, business tycoon from Birmingham; Nadia Gill, Country Manager of PIA; Munawar Chichi, prominent businessman,Amjad Amin Bobby, Chairman of the Watford Community Forum,and former Mayor Chaudhry Liaqat Ali.The Pakistan High Commission London was represented by First Secretary Habibullah Khan, who read a special message from High Commissioner Dr. Mohammad Faisal, congratulating the forum on its achievements.In their speeches, the participants lauded the contributions of the Pakistani diaspora to the UK’s economy and praised the PBBF for creating valuable opportunities for business networking and cooperation. Speakers commended Chairman Qaisar Mahmood Chichi and his team for successfully organising the event and acknowledged their ongoing efforts to strengthen the British-Pakistani business community.Lord Qurban Hussain highlighted the need for greater political participation, saying, “It is time for the Pakistani community to step forward not only in business but also in politics.”
Speaking to the Media, Chairman Qaisar Mahmood Chichi reflected on the forum’s progress, remarking, “Three years ago, we planted a seed to unite the business community. Today, that seed has grown into a strong and thriving tree.Participants expressed appreciation for such networking initiatives, noting that the Pakistan British Business Forum has played a vital role in bringing together entrepreneurs and professionals from across the UK onto one platform. They thanked Qaisar Mahmood Chichi for his vision and leadership in fostering unity and collaboration within the community.
