In Karakalpakstan, the turnout reached 70.95%; in Andijan region, 75.16%; in Bukhara, 71.29%; in Jizzakh, 72.76%; in Navoi, 70.93%; and in Namangan region, 74.98%.

Five parties are participating in the elections: the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Business People — Uzbekistan Liberal Democratic Party, the Milliy Tiklanish Democratic Party, the Ecological Party, the People’s Democratic Party, and the Adolat Social Democratic Party.

This year’s elections are the first to be held under a mixed majoritarian-proportional system: of the 150 seats in the Legislative Chamber, 75 will be allocated through single-mandate districts, while the remaining 75 will be determined by the total votes received by each political party in a single nationwide constituency.
