Dear Sir

Asslam-O-Alaikum, I’m writing this letter to you to share my concerns about the current chaos created in Pakistani citizen because of the increase in electricity prices and taxes in electric bills and everyone in Pakistan is still receiving electric bills of huge amounts after the government has promised to give affordable electricity. They do not use as much electricity as much they receives bills of electricity. And in paying these bill people have to lend money and uses all of their income in only paying the electricity bills and have to face financial difficulties throughout the months. Citizens are becoming frustrated and also doing protests against it. How do you see this situation?

The government should lessen the taxes in bills, send people their accurate bills not ones that only filled with taxes and fuel adjustments, invest in such infrastructures which produce efficient electricity, and reduce the electricity prices as promise.

Sincerely,
Amina Nasir
