ISLAMABAD— Air University (AU) marked a momentous occasion as it celebrated the
11th convocation ceremony honoring the achievements of 1389 graduates who successfully completed their degree programs. The ceremony, held at AU main campus Islamabad, was graced by the presence of proud parents, esteemed faculty members, and distinguished guests. Air Marshal Farhat Hussain Khan HI (M), S. Bt. (Retd), Advisor to Prime Minister of Pakistan on Aviation presided over the convocation ceremony as chief guest.
The highlight of the convocation was the conferring of degrees, including 15 Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) recipients, 39 Gold medalists, and 27 Silver medalists. The University takes immense pride in the dedication and hard work exhibited by these graduates throughout their academic journey.
The Vice-Chancellor, Air Marshal Javaid Ahmed HI (M) (Retd) delivered an inspiring report to the graduates and their parents, highlighting the university’s commitment to academic excellence and its vision for the future. In the report, Vice Chancellor emphasized the university’s continuous efforts to provide a conducive learning environment, foster innovation, and prepare students for the challenges of the rapidly evolving global landscape.
The Vice Chancellor commended graduates not only for their academic achievements but also for their holistic development, including their involvement in extracurricular activities, community service, and research initiatives.
