JKLF pays rich tributes to Sharik A. Bakhshi on his martyrdom day.
Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) in a statement issued from the central information office has very strongly condemned the so called State administration of Jammu Kashmir who on the behest of government of India are intimidating the Jammu Kashmir High Court Bar Association (JKHBA) members and its office bearers. This was stated by the acting chairman of JKLF Abdul Hameed Butt while reacting to the administration’s unlawful action of issuing intimidating notices to JKHBA.
The acting chairman of JKLF said that intimidating the lawyer’s community, imposing 144 in court premises and unlawful intervention into the affairs of JKHBA is a clear example of high handedness of so called State administration. While terming these acts as undemocratic and immoral, Abdul Hameed Butt said that the State of Jammu Kashmir is a UN recognized disputed territory and that the same world body has given a roadmap as well for its resolution. The lawyer’s community who are the upholders of law cannot be intimidated and subjugated by the dent of force for upholding a genuine and lawful opinion, he added.
Abdul Hameed Butt said that the lawyer’s community follows the law that represents the genuine aspirations of the people of Jammu Kashmir and that no unlawful act can stop a person to follow a lawful act. He further lauded the lawyer’s community for their role played so far in the freedom struggle and paid tributes to dozens of lawyers including Adv. Jaleel A. Andrabi who sacrificed their lives for the noble cause.
Meanwhile, the spokesman of JKLF paid rich tributes to Shariq A. Bakhshi on his martyrdom day today. While paying homage to Shaheed Shariq, the spokesman in a statement said that Shariq was one of the brave sons of soil who embraced martyrdom at a tender age for the freedom of Jammu Kashmir. He said that Shariq belonged to a family that has rendered valuable sacrifices for the cause and thus he had inherited bravery from his mother’s lap. While praying for his heavenly abode, JKLF also prayed for other martyrs of Jammu Kashmir who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of Jammu Kashmir.
