Kabul :At least four Afghan security forces were killed and six others are reported wounded in the last 24 hours. According to the Afghan media, Taliban attack in various areas of the northern province of Baghlan. The attacks targeted security outposts in Baghlan– Markazi, Nahrin district, and the centre of the province Pule Khumri. Two of the wounded soldiers in Nahrin district are reported to be in critical condition, both have not yet been transferred to the hospital as the highway leading to the centre of the province is blocked by the Taliban. The wounded soldiers are expected to shift through air support
According to reports 10 Taliban militants are also among the dead and wounded as the battle turned fierce. Taliban yet to comment on the incident.
On the other hand, the Afghan Ministry of Defence reported that 31 Taliban fighters were killed and 15 others were wounded in counter-attacks by ANA forces in Ghazni, Helmand and Khost provinces.
