Tashkent, Uzbekistan : The leadership of the Italian Confederation of Industry (Confindustria Italia) made a decision to create a branch of this organization in Uzbekistan – Confindustria – Uzbekistan. Confindustria is the main professional association in Italy, uniting more than 150,000 manufacturing and service companies in the country. Its activities are aimed at providing a working environment and supporting companies contributing to the economic, social and civil development of Italy. The main tasks of “Confindustria – Uzbekistan” are to promote the expansion and strengthening of economic ties between Uzbekistan and Italy. In particular, it is planned to identify new areas of cooperation and business opportunities, provide Italian companies with practical information and support in finding partners in Uzbekistan, and provide services to enterprises aimed at implementing investment and commercial projects.
