Those gatherings in which Allah is mentioned.
Translation: Both Hazrat Abu Hurairah (RA) and Hazrat Abu Saeed (RA)testify that we heard from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), they used to say that The group that engages the remembrance of Allah, the angels surround that congregation from all sides and Mercy covers them and Sakina descends upon them and Allah, mentions them in his Majlis (Ahmad, Muslim, Tirmidhi).
In the course of teaching the Quran, a global thinker of religion, whose speech was held in a local Central Jamia Masjid of Islamabad, the point of the statement was the Quran Majeed Furqan Hameed Surah Ibrahim verse 7:
Translation: (If you are truly thankful, I will give you more)
Which means that if we thank Allah for His blessings, Allah will increase these blessings? Hazrat Maulana used the words of tafsir in explaining this verse in a very short but comprehensive statement that the intellect is stunned. Hazrat, the tone and loving style of the statement was touching the hearts. From which no soul can live without being affected. A brief summary of Hazrat’s statement and style of conversation was as follows: Whatever Allah has given us, more or less he said,
“Thank Allah that Allah has given us this country of Pakistan. Allah has given countless millions of blessings in it. The person who has bread to eat today, clothes to wear, and a roof to live in.” He has a good wife and a ride, even if it is a bicycle. His life is like the life of kings. That the same things used to happen to the earlier kings. He said that even today in the world, there are countries where people have life have no shoes to wear. Alhamdulillah! Today there is no one asking for bread. He said, “Don’t turn away someone who asks. If he should come on a horse with a crown on his head. And thank Allah that Allah has made us givers instead of takers.
” We should thank Allah for all the blessings that Allah has given us this country, Pakistan”. In the past kings did not have electric bulbs? There were no electric fans. Today, in our blessings, all the parts of our body, our wife and children, our house, our employment, our resources, everything is pointing towards that we should be grateful to the Almighty Allah in every situation, so that Allah may bless us more. If someone praises us, let us also thank Allah that Allah has hidden us by covering our sins with his veil. We have no perfection in this.
Hazrat said that while traveling from one country to another, a woman was sitting on the next seat with her two and a half year old child and was feeding him. And at every morsel she says to her child. Say thank you. He would say. Mom: thank you. And so he repeated these words many times. Today the disbelievers have adopted our words. Today in our homes, what do our mothers not give us? Doesn’t she feed us? Doesn’t she do it for us? Have we ever said thank you or Jazak Allah to our mothers? If we do this, Allah will be pleased with us. Allah will bestow blessings. He said that a blind man who memorized the Qur’an came to me. He regretted that the mother from whom I was born, the mother in whose arms I grew up and with the prayers of my mother, I have memorized the Qur’an today. I have not seen her with my eyes in my whole life. So let us thank Allah for our eyes, our ears, our hands, our feet, our tongue for everything that Allah has given us all this.
Given upon the same topic, thanking Allah for his blessings, a doctor, a religious scholar, was explaining in such away. What is the value and importance of human saliva and mentioned an incident that I saw a person in the hospital walking around with a bottle of water in his hand and repeatedly siphoning water from this bottle. Sipping again and again. I inquired him from that person what is the matter that you keep sipping water from the bottle again and again. He mentioned his pain and replied that I do not spit, so my mouth is dry. It happens so I sip water from a bottle to keep my mouth hydrated so I don’t feel sick. My body isn’t producing saliva. Hazrat Mulana said: That spit which has no value and no one knows it well. And it is considered the dirtiest thing. This is also a great blessing of Allah, what would be the condition of man without it. Maulana said that we should be thankful to our parents that thanks to them, Allah has given birth to us in the house of a Muslim and in the mother’s lap, Kalma Tayyaba was given. We could have been born in Hinduism, Christianity or any other religion. It is a great blessing to be born in a Muslim’s home and to be blessed with Kalma. We have no perfection in this, thank Allah for it. He said that those who are the heads of their institutions. Let them thank Allah because they could have been among the people standing outside the gates paying duties. And those who turn away those who come for jobs from outside could have been among them. Who return people from outside۔?
In the end, Hazrat Maulana said that we should all repent before Allah for our shortcomings. And remember that they will never turn away anyone who comes from their door. And we will not underestimate the blessings of Allah. We will become slaves. And they will become grateful servants of Allah.
