It’s not free

It's not freeMuhammad Shahab Wali

The government of Pakistan has started a free Atta scheme for its citizens this Ramadan. The purpose of this is to provide relief to people. The scheme is worth billion of rupees and aims to benefit crore people. With the current economic situation in Pakistan, including high petrol prices and the dollar at its peak, many people are struggling to meet their daily needs. This scheme comes as a much-needed relief for the people, especially during Ramadan. Due to high prices, a lot of families can’t be able to buy basic goods for the household. So, to help those, the Pakistan government decided to start the relief program by providing the 03 bags of free flour to the candidates. However, to avoid inconvenience, people as well as the government is making some mistakes due to which people are losing their lives. Recently, we have seen many people have lost their although to the inconvenience of others.  It is free just by name but inconveniences not free because if you want to get free Atta you have to give your life for it, Although sacrifice your time, family, relation friendship etc. Although people are not following the orders and making inconvenience but if government want, they can do everything.  Poor people come early morning where they have to wait until evening. We have seen the poor people struggling to get that package but never ever see a rich man or a minister sons standing in lines. If you haven’t seen this, so this is the reward of the choices we have made in past. Recently in our area, an old man has lost precious life. What did this frail old man who came to get a free bag for the children know that he will lose his life. A life is worth a free bag of flour.

Poor people are being humiliated in the name of free flour, there is no proper way or proper security. It’s a clear slap on poor people’s faces on the name of the free package. Yes, I agree that people are also making mistakes. But that is not the solution.(Email.  [email protected])
