The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Yemen condemns categorically the Iranian regime’s actions involving the smuggling of one its agents to the Republic of Yemen and his appointment as a so called “ambassador” to the rebel Houthis militia, in a violation to the United nation Security council (UNSC) resolutions includes 2216.
The Iranian regime persists to behave in a manner similar to that of gangs and terrorist organizations by smuggling weapons and personnel to a coup militia which demonstrates the hostility and ill- intentions of this regime towards Yemen and its people.
The Ministry calls upon the international community and the UNSC to condemn the Iranian regimes unlawful actions and violations as well as its continued blatant interference in the internal affair of the Republic of Yemen.
