ISLAMABAD: World Refugee Day is an annual commemoration celebrated on 20th June each year, established by the United Nations to recognize and to ensure that the world stands with Refugees. Refugees are, without doubt, the most vulnerable people in the world. They deserve the same standard of treatments the nationals of the country where they have sought refuge.

We at INSPIRE PAKISTAN believe in and call them heroes and celebrate this day to honor the strength and courage of these heroes for their struggle and resilience in the face of conflict. Inspire Pakistan takes pride in serving refugees by empowering their youth through education in protecting their right to education and also through provision of protection services to them alongside UNHCR in Pakistan. We not only aim at but also strive for taking corrective measures in order to ensure that the Refugee Rights are being protected and taking necessary steps there, helping in their progress and development for the welfare of Afghan Refugees during their temporary stay in Pakistan.

“Fleeing war and conflict to seek refuge is a basic human right of every individual endorsed in not only the international human rights protection instruments but also in the constitution of Pakistan, 1973. We salute the struggle of Afghan refugees and stand by them in upholding their rights.
