Islamabad: Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (FFC) under its CSR budget has successfully completed its social welfare projects at Sadiq Abad Goth Machi in three phases.

The company truly believes that provision of healthcare, education and basic facilities is mandatory not only the responsibility of the government but other benefactors and private ) industrial sectors must also step in to ensure the cause of community uplift. The project worth 5.5 million has been completed in 3 programs. In the first phase, machines were provided to skilled widows at a cost of Rs. 5 lac. Cheques have been distributed to a widow for her daughter’s higher education, dowry items, including the provision of life-saving medicines to the local Rural Health Center for treatment.

In the second program, a project of construction of two classrooms at the cost of Rs. 25 lac has been materialized. In the third program, Dr. Babar Ali, MS, Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Sadiqabad, was provided with Biomedical Equipment at a cost of Rs. 25 lac.

Resident Manager, Brig (R) Talat Mahmoud Janjua further stressed that the company will continue with it’s mission of community development and social welfare in future as well.
