Ambassador of Turkey assures to support Turkey Alumni in Pakistan in its efforts to promote bilateral ties

Islamabad:  a first ever gathering of alumni of Turkish universities was organized by the newly established office of “Turkey Alumni in Pakistan (TULIP)” at Islamabad Club aimed to connect the alumni of Turkish universities. 
A large number of Alumni, Ambassador of Turkey H.E Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul, Head of the Mission Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) H.E Dilsad Senol, Deputy Coordinator of Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) Mr. Mehmet Selcuk Karagoz, MD Pakistan Bait-ul- Mal Mr. Malik Zaheer Abbas Khokhar, Air Vice Marshal Asad Ikram,  Assitant Commissioner Islamabad Mr. Aneel Saeed,  President of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce Mr. Muhammad Shakeel, representative of Pak Türk Maarif School and Collages Mr. Buğra Ozler and dignitaries of different educational and charity organizations attended the high tea and meet up. YTB president Abdullah Eren also attended the meeting Online.
The meet up was organized to help alumni of Turkish universities to keep in touch with each other, share information, experiences and to provide opportunities to build professional development, networking, and friendship building.
First Turkey Alumni gathering heldDuring the address, Ambassador of Turkey H.E Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul assured his support to Turkey Alumni in Pakistan (TULIP) in its efforts to promote Pakistan Turkey relations in various fields.
President of Turkey Alumni in Pakistan (TULIP) Mr. Saif ul Islam Khan said ” this alumni association can play an important roll in further strengthening the relations between two brotherly countries. Alumni of Turkish universities are an asset of Pakistan and they are ready to serve for the prosperity of the country.”
During the program, a tribute also paid to national poet of Pakistan Hazrat Allama Muhammad Iqbal on the occasion of his birth anniversary.
Ambassador of Turkey H.E Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul gave the cultural shawls as a present  to heads of Pakistani and Turkish organizations on behalf of Turkey Alumni in Pakistan (TULIP) at the end of the program.
