AL AMERAT: Scotland have claimed an easy eight-wicket win over Oman in the 10th match of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup as they chased down the target of 123 in 17 overs.

Scotland and Bangladesh are the two teams, who have qualified for Super 12s stage as they finished first and second respectively in Group B of Round 1.

Opt to bat first, Oman were wrapped up for only 122. Skipper Zeeshan Maqsood was the only notable batter for Oman, scoring 34. Mohammad Nadeem made 24 while no other batters entered into the double figures.

Pacer Josh Davey bagged three wickets while Safyan Sharif and Michael Leask took two wickets each.

In return, Scotland skipper Kyle Coetzer hit 41 off 28. Matthew Cross and Richie Berrington cruised the run chase with scores of 26* and 31* respectively.

Earlier, Bangladesh guaranteed their qualification from this group after claiming 84-run win over Papua New Guinea.
