Lahore, 27th August 2021: Ministry of Culture Punjab has joined hands with Snack Video, a short-video platform to support local artists, financially as well as through promotions to highlight the culture and immense talent available in Punjab and Pakistan across the globe.

The agreement signing ceremony was held at Alhamra Arts Council, Lahore where  Naeemudin Syed, Country Head SnackVideo, Khayal Ahmed Kastro Minister for Culture & Colony Punjab, Raja Jahangeer AnwerSec. Information & Culture, TahirAbbas,CEO Trapezium and Abubakar Javed, Representative Alhamra Studioswere present.

Pakistan’s fastest growing short video platform SnackVideo has become a sensation particularly for the country’s youth. With its welcoming nature, innovative features and easy to use interface the platform is attracting celebrities, content creators, and the general youth from every corner of the country.

According to the agreement, Punjab Culture Ministry will share the lists of talented artists with the platform. Selective artists will then be able to create an alternative revenue stream by creating content on SnackVideo. Trapezium Agency will be the execution agency in this collaboration.

Addressing the occasion, Punjab Culture Minister Khayal Ahmed Kastro said that SnackVideo has been doing an excellent job by promoting and supporting local artists.

He said that this collaboration between the Ministry and SnackVideo will surely help Pakistani artists to fulfil their dreams and to showcase their talents to the world.

He further reiterated the need for more collaborations as the recent COVID-19 global pandemic has disturbed many artists financially. He also added that this talent promotion activity will engage the youth in a constructive activity to further the development of Arts & Culture in Pakistan.
