QATARI AMBASSADOR CALLS ON SPEAKER ASAD QAISERNaveed Ahmad Khan

Islamabad: 22nd June 2021; While meeting Qatar Ambassador in Pakistan Sheikh Saoud bin  Abdulrahman  bin Faisel Al Thani in Islamabad today, Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser remarked that Qatar and Pakistan enjoy cordial relations that are based on  commonality of religious, history and cultural values.  While appreciating the mutual cooperation in the fields of Parliamentary, Economy, Trade, Investments, Health, and education, he said this cooperation would boost economic activity in the country.

Speaker Asad Qaiser remarked that cooperation between both countries especially in the field of Energy sector was vital for development and prosperity in the country. He said that Pakistan welcomes high Qatari investment in Energy, Industrial and other economic sector. He said that both countries have vast opportunities to enhance mutual trade. He added that Parliamentary Cooperation between both countries would bring them closer and help them learn from each other’s experiences. He mentioned that Pakistani expatriates in Qatar are enjoying the cordial atmosphere in Qatar and their contribution in the form of remittances is contributing in socio-economic stability of homeland.

Qatar Ambassador in Pakistan Sheikh Saoud bin  Abdulrahman  bin Faisel Al Thani considers  Pakistan brother and a trading partner. He also mentioned that Qatar would continue to support Pakistan in the field of trade, education and Health. He applauded the Pakistani government strategy to tackle COVID-19 Pandemic successfully He informed that Qatar would donate   One million COVID-19 Vaccine doses to Pakistan. He also applauded the efforts of Pakistan to raise the issue of Islamophobia across the world and underlined the need to bring Muslim umma countries together.
