ISLAMABAD : Another flight from the United Arab Emirates carrying relief goods for the flood-stricken people of Pakistan arrived here at Nur Khan Airbase on Wednesday.

So far, 19 flights from the UAE have landed in Pakistan carrying food, medical supplies and tents etc.

This is in continuation of the humanitarian air bridge established between Pakistan and the UAE.

“Pakistan is thankful to the Government and people of UAE for showing support and solidarity in these times of grave crisis,” the Foreign Office spokesperson said in a statement.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had also thanked the UAE government for its continued support to the flood victims including the establishment of a humanitarian corridor between the two countries.
