Uzbekistan’s GDP to grow by 5% in 2021 - draft budget

Tashkent, Uzbekistan – The Uzbek government expects the country’s economy to grow by 5% in 2021 compared to 2020. This was stated in the commentary of the Ministry of Finance to the draft law “On the state budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2021”.

The commentary notes that industrial production growth in 2021 is expected at 5.8%, agriculture – 2.7% and services rendered – 6.4%.

The document emphasizes that inflation in the country will decline and will be at the level of 10% in 2021.
