Tashkent, Uzbekistan – President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Technological Park of software products and information technologies in Tashkent.
The showroom of the complex provided information about the buildings under construction and the conditions being created. Demonstrated software products created with the participation of students from the specialized school named after Muhammad al-Khorezmi.
The head of state held a video conferencing conversation with children studying at the IT center of the Bozatau district of Karakalpakstan.
Responsible persons were instructed to ensure integration between the school named after Muhammad al-Khorezmi and schools of information technology in the regions, to stimulate young people to learn modern technologies, to become professionals in their field.
The course of construction of a technopark is considered.
Work on the creation of a modern complex began on November 20 last year. 17 buildings will be built in stages, including 20-25-storey office buildings, a 22-storey hotel, a university, a conference hall, a coworking center and other facilities. The structures can withstand earthquakes of magnitude above 9 points. An underground three-level car park will be built. The complex will also have cafes and restaurants, shops, a mosque, sports grounds and recreation areas.
The first two buildings of the IT park were commissioned. They have created advanced conditions, launched incubation and acceleration programs for promising startups. Enterprises registered as residents of the IT Park are exempt from taxes and customs duties until 1 January 2028
