A statement was sent to Ukrainian, Belarusian and Moldovan media in connection with Armenia's missile attack on Ganja

Baku: AZERTAC special correspondent for Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova Emil Huseynli said that the Armenian armed forces fired rockets at residential buildings in the central part of Ganja, the second largest city in Azerbaijan, far from the frontline. He addressed a statement to the media.

The statement, addressed to about 40 news agencies, portals and newspapers, said that the occupying Armenian armed forces deliberately targeted the civilian population of Azerbaijan in violation of the norms and principles of international law, the 1949 Geneva Conventions and their Additional Protocols, the requirements of the agreed humanitarian ceasefire. It was noted that it continues to fire rockets at settlements.
According to preliminary reports, 13 people were killed, more than 45 people were injured and numerous civilian infrastructure was damaged as a result of rocket fire by the Armenian armed forces on October 17 at around 1 am, far from the frontline. The facility and the vehicle were severely damaged. Three of the dead were minors and four were women.
Since September 27, 60 civilians have been killed and 270 injured as a result of heavy artillery and missile fire on Azerbaijani settlements by the Armenian armed forces. Also, as a result of intensive heavy artillery and rocket fire by the Armenian army, 1,704 houses, 90 apartment buildings and 327 civilian facilities fell into disrepair.
At the end of the statement, the Ukrainian, Belarusian and Moldovan media were called to cover Armenia’s terrorist policy objectively and defend Azerbaijan’s just position.
