Pakistan High Commission Dhaka celebrates Eid Milad un Nabi

Dhaka:High Commission for Pakistan, Dhaka organized an event to mark Milad un Nabi (SAW) last evening. The theme of the event was “Tolerance and the Prophet’s Life.” The event was attended by guests from all walks of life including academia, Pakistani diaspora and media.
Speakers on the occasion highlighted the various aspects of the life of the Prophet (SAW) particularly his teaching regarding tolerance, mutual cooperation, compassion and social justice.
High Commissioner for Pakistan, Mr. Imran Ahmed Siddiqui, congratulated the audience on Milad un Nabi and said that the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was the greatest blessing of Allah for the humanity. The message of the Prophet (SAW) encompassed all aspects of human existence. Our respect and affection for the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) demand that we follow his teachings faithfully, he added.
The High Commission’s building was beautifully decorated and illuminated to mark this revered occasion.
Special prayers were offered for the peace and prosperity of Pakistan, the Ummah and the entire world.
On the sidelines of the event, the High Commission also arranged an exhibition of Arabic/Quranic Calligraphy which, inter alia, included artworks by the Chief Calligrapher of the Prophet’s Mosque in Madina al-Munawwarah. The participants evinced keen interest in the exquisite artworks on display and appreciated the High Commission for arranging the exhibition.
