ISLAMABAD, Oct 4: President Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday paid tribute to security forces for eliminating eight terrorists of Fitna al-Khwarij during an intelligence-based operation in Dera Ismail Khan.<\/p>\n

According to the President Secretariat Media Wing, the President commended security personnel for recovering a large quantity of weapons and ammunition and eliminating three key figures of the militant group during the operation.<\/p>\n

President Zardari said the nefarious designs of terrorists operating with foreign patronage and support from local facilitators would be foiled. He called for continuing operations against Fitna al-Khwarij with full force under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision.<\/p>\n

The President reaffirmed the nation\u2019s unwavering resolve to eradicate terrorism and said the entire country saluted the security forces for their sacrifices in protecting peace and security.<\/p>\n
