Third EIPA Awards 2025 Hosted by Brain Designer

Islamabad: The third annual EIPA Awards 2025, organized by Brain Designer, took place in Islamabad with the aim of promoting Pakistan’s positive image and encouraging foreign investment while fostering tourism in the country. The event brought together key stakeholders from the tourism, investment, and business sectors, including foreign diplomats, overseas Pakistanis’ organizations, and officials from Chambers of Commerce and Industries, as well as prominent real estate figures.
The awards recognized individuals and organizations for their significant contributions in 2024 to attracting foreign investment, supporting economic growth, promoting tourism, and restoring Pakistan’s soft image abroad. The ceremony honored those who played a pivotal role in enhancing Pakistan’s international stature.
The event’s Chief Guest was His Excellency Mr. Yusuf Sharifzoda Toirali, Ambassador of Tajikistan. The Guest of Honor was Mr. Rahmat Hindiarta Kusuma, Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of Indonesia, along with other distinguished diplomats including Mr. Yushau Mohammed (Charge d’Affaires, Nigerian High Commission), Mr. Behbud Gadali (First Secretary, Azerbaijan Embassy), Mr. Syafik Firdous bin Hasbullah (Deputy Head of Mission, High Commission of Malaysia), and Mr. Saidjon (Deputy Head of Mission, Tajikistan Embassy).
Also attending were Mr. Muhammad Rauf Raja, CEO of Brain Designers (Explore and Invest Pakistan), Mr. Tariq Jadoon, Vice President of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Mr. Malik Sohail, Chairman Coordination of FPCCI, Mr. Timur Aziz, Executive Vice President of NayaTel, Kiran Afzal senior officials from the World Bank group, Ch. Riaz Basra Chariman ICCR and Mr Dosil Ali Jan – Senior Vice President – Rawalpindi Chamber of Small Traders & Small Industries, along with key figures from the hospitality, tourism, and real estate sectors.
In his welcoming speech, Mr. Muhammad Rauf Raja, CEO of Brain Designers, emphasized the importance of showcasing Pakistan’s soft image globally. He highlighted that Pakistan is a peaceful country, with a population where 65% are youth, offering vast investment opportunities. He also mentioned that the hospitality sector in Pakistan is currently witnessing an investment of $7 billion.
Mr. Tariq Jadoon, Vice President of the Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries, stressed the need for empowering youth to shape the nation’s future and enhance Pakistan’s position internationally. He noted that the country’s economy is on the path to recovery, citing a decline in interest rates, control over the dollar exchange rate, and a reduction in inflation as key factors contributing to economic stability.
In his speech, Tajikistan’s Ambassador Mr. Yusuf Sharifzoda congratulated the organizers for the successful awards ceremony and affirmed his country’s support for Pakistan’s development and economic revival. He praised Pakistan’s entrepreneurial spirit, which, he said, is crucial for the nation’s progress, and advocated for Mr. Muhammad Rauf Raja to receive recognition from Pakistan for his efforts in promoting the country’s positive image and bringing foreign investment.
The awards ceremony was followed by a panel discussion on promoting tourism in Pakistan. The panelists discussed the challenges facing Pakistan’s tourism sector and explored potential solutions for its development.
